Saranac Art Projects – Diversions
An exhibit by Jen Erickson and Lisa Nappa.

Opens: Friday, November 4th, 2011 5pm – 8pm
Jen Erickson is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Her nationally displayed drawings pull inspiration from obsolete technology and information systems. Erickson graduated with her BFA from The University of Montana and her MFA from Central Washington University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Saranac Art Projects and is active with PUNCH, an artist run gallery in Seattle, Washington.

Lisa Nappa is a professor of art at Eastern Washington University where she has taught ceramics for the past 16 years. Her recent work focuses on the beauty and underlying politics of water. She is currently working in a variety of media including ceramic sculpture, photo collage and mixed media sculpture. She exhibits her work nationally.

Diversions will be up at the Saranac Art Projects at 25 W. Main, Spokane WA from November 4 through November 26, 2011. An opening reception will be held in conjunction with the First Friday Artwalk November 4 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
Gallery hours: Thursdays 12-4pm, Fridays & Saturdays 12-8pm
