Friday: Lisa Nappa (noon to 4 pm), then Jeff Huston (4 to 8pm)

Saturday: Nancy Hathaway (noon to 4), and then Jon Faulks [one of our newest members] from 4 to 8pm.

Coming up this week: MAC/SFCC visting artist lecture

Check out the visiting artist lecture at the MAC  tomorrow, and SFCC Friday morning.

Friday is huge here in town.
Not only do we, here at the Saranac have an opening, but members are participating in the Chase exhibit and past members are at Kolva-Sullivan as well.
Get out the walking shoes, because there are three places, at least, from one end to the other.

Open and Excited

Come see what Larry and Nancy have in the space.

Larry has a collection which sparks our imagination. We know the kids from next door will have a good time looking and imagining where Larry has picked up his pieces. The lighted forms are fun.

Nancy has brought in work by Cory Peeke. We have yet to see that, but the image we have is a good one. The title tells a story resonating with many.

We think scale could be a challenge.

Saturday: Margo and Kurt (which means both are around much of the time)
We love talking to folks. We would also talk about drawing, or making things.
It’s what we like to do. Make things and think about making things. Ideas behind all of it fascinate us.
But just looking is fine too.
Most of us like to look as well as make.
