Hannah Koeske’s paintings

August 24, 2013 § Leave a comment

Here are a small sample of Hannah’s paintings from her “social research into social structure” collection. They are fascinating paintings on cardboard, (a type called chip board) and canvas. The portraits are pencil, sharpie and paint. They are very interesting! We remember talking to Hannah as she was installing them. We remember Bradd saying they are self portraits, using photos from a phone or computer.
The images above and below are like the letter cards from first grade when new were learning the alphabet. Remember those? Except these letters are the computer type letters like the numbers at the bottom of checks. They are great! It’s fun to come up with the word for the image. We have gotten a couple wrong, but that is part of the fun.

We are open for visitors tomorrow, from noon to eight! Come on by and take a look!
