Kurt Madison & Roger Ralston opening Floating World tonight

January 2, 2015 § Leave a comment

Floating World Opens tonight from five to eight in the Saranac Art Projects. It is the first Friday of January, and we are joining with a broad swath of spaces offering a last chance to celebrate the holidays. New work for a new year, and we are thrilled with the work.
Kurt has loads of Calligraphy in the space. He has been working on traditional sumi painting, and trying a couple of other things with the originals. Photos, scans, digital enlargements, digital decay of images. Loads of different things.

Roger has the most delicate of mobiles made from bamboo and tissue paper. They are floating in the space catching the movements of folks as they walk through the gallery, and as the doors open and close. We can sit and watch them for hours.

Hope to see you thus evening.
Come by and visit.
