Last Week for Mariah and Jo’s show

June 24, 2016 § Leave a comment

Sketch books

This is the last week for Jo Quetsch and Mariah Boyle’s show at The Saranac Art Projects!

We are open this week, even with the construction and Hoopfest going on around us.

Stop in during your visit to Spokane, and see what we have up in the space.

It’s a terrific show of drawing and paintings.

Look through Jo’s sketch books. She starts with some general ideas form her experiences and develops paintings from those.

Mariah Boyle

Mariah has an open approach to images, creating the massive drawings using charcoal and water media of all sorts.

End of the Month, and a few days remaining for Connie and Mariah Show

August 28, 2014 § Leave a comment

As we tumble out out summer and into the next season, we would love you to come and see our August show: Connie Pierson’s and Mariah Boyle’s collection of drawings and encaustics.

We would love to have a conversation about the work, and our members.

This is the last show of Mariah’s. We are sad to see her leave. She has moved to Eastern Oregon, and then we aren’t sure what she has planned. We wish her well as she keeps working on, what we expect to be, wonderful drawings and prints.

Here, we are showing a detail of one serigraph in the gallery.

The show ends on Saturday. If you are in town, we’d love to have you see the work.

We loved Visiting

We loved all the conversations yesterday. It was a nice time, and we feel invigorated by having a couple folks investigate the drawings and paintings in the past couple of days.

Thanks for coming by and exploring with us.

We are open again this week. The work is delightful. We’d love to visit some more and investigate some options.

This week we have Tobe Harvey on Thursday from noon to five.

Dan McCann sits on Friday afternoon from noon to four, and then

Bradd Skubinna is in the gallery Friday from four to eight.

Bernadette Y Vielbig sits the gallery on Saturday from noon to four, then

Carrie Scozarro is in the gallery Saturday from four to eight.

Come see some great drawings

Here is a delightful piece in the gallery for this month.

If you misses last week, or the opening the week before, we have a couple more days for you to be able to see the work.

We have a couple of weeks, when we look at the calendar.

Come and see what’s in the space.
